Sales System Specialist – Central New Jersey
The Sales System Specialist is responsible for achieving opportunity‑based sales quotas through effective territory
management, customer engagement, and development of long‑term client relationships. This role requires strong
presentation skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company with integrity.

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Central New Jersey Territory
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 annually + commission
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities:
• Conduct on‑site presentations and demonstrations of company products and services.
• Develop business within assigned accounts and generate new opportunities through referrals and
outbound outreach.
• Communicate product and service benefits, address customer questions, and support proposal
discussions and order processing.
• Maintain a structured call schedule to ensure efficient coverage of the assigned territory.
• Utilize CRM tools and marketing data to manage pipelines and improve sales effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including call reports, expenses, invoices, and related records.
• Provide information to Sales Coordination for client proposals and responses.
• Gather customer insights through interviews or surveys and share market observations with Sales
Leadership.
• Stay informed about new products, services, competitor activity, and industry trends.
• Perform additional job‑related duties as needed.
Skills & Experience
• Prior warehouse, logistics, or operations experience
• Understanding of systems troubleshooting and the value of effective service practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain professionalism in customer‑facing
situations.
• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
Core Competencies
• Organization & time management
• Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience; experience in Compressed Air or HVAC industries
preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with standard business software and CRM systems.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and attend occasional training events.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, or kneel as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts with certification)
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and complete computer‑based tasks
